Part of our commitment to animal husbandry is minimizing the risk of disease transmission into our production areas.  All facets of our daily work routine are designed to eliminate as many routes of disease transfer as possible.  Our sow units require showers for both inbound and outbound employees and visitors.  All of our transportation equipment is washed and disinfected after each use.  Traffic between farms is limited and subject to closure to all but critical-only traffic.  In cooperation with our veterinarian, we participate in herd health status information sharing with other area animal production systems.
